Steamed Buns

In this design, their main objective is to sell their steam buns. The design is very simple and have an effective way to sell their buns. There are multiple different types of buns. In the design, there are a total of four different buns. One bun is split in half to give their customers a better understanding of what a steam bun is. The slight cut creates a better and tasteful image than normal uncut buns. In the type, it also has more than just the text, "Steam Buns". It focuses on how the taste of the bun. It says in the text, "Fresh hot and tasty".  this can attract many different customers when people are hungry. There are also two different languages in this design. This can communicate to two different people. The color is also very well used because it provides a unique background.
The design is great, however I would change some stuff in the design. In this design I would change the images of the steam bun into multiple different steam buns. This can create an different feeling and provide a variety of different types of buns. The little girl on the bottom can also be changed, however it creates a friendly atmosphere for its customers.  

Maruya

Maruya is a restaurant that mainly serves roman and other types of Japanese foods, such as sushi, sashimi, and salads. The design is very simple, however very effective. Most red typography really sticks out during the night time and can attract many customers. The artwork on the left creates a friendly and family like atmosphere for their viewers. The cartoon is very cute and attract people. There are also two different language to compensate their customers. The design is focused on both Japanese natives and people who are completely new to Japanese food. The design is effective, however I would change the square box because there are different ways to transition the design in to the text.

Le Roy's The Original Breakfast & Lunch

Le Roy's is a small dining restaurant that specialize in breakfast dishes. Even though Le Roy's states that it serves lunch, most of its customers are there for their breakfast menu. The food portion in this restaurant is larger than most places. The overall atmosphere is also very family friendly and nice. The design fits the actually atmosphere of the restaurant. The design is a lion with a crown, having a san serif typography. The design is direct because it states what type of food it serves. The color the design has is mostly red and yellow. In these cases, the colors are both distinguished as warm colors. Warm colors really enhances the family quality. The design is to appeal to both families and friends to grab a quick breakfast.
The idea of this design is a lion with a crown on it. Lions can really give an aura that speaks to its costumers. Lions are the kings in the wild life and the design is to give off that their customers are kings. And what fits more perfect for a diner to let their costumers feel like kings. The design is great, however the design is not as attracting as most designs. A way to improve this is by using brighter colors. In this design the colors are faded and does not have a solid punch that will attract the customers. The idea is good though, a lion with a crown to symbolize that it's customers are kings. The design is effective and is doing its job.

Boba Bear

Boba Bear is very unique compare to most baba places because it sells both boba and hookah. The design is very straight forward, the design has the typography of "Boba Bear" with pictures of multiple bears and two hookah pieces. The typography is san serif and is very friendly appeal toward it's viewers. The design is intended for people who loves boba and enjoys casual smoking. The average age appeal is toward a younger crowd at the age of 20. Boba Bear was created to be a boba place, however the owner decided to implement hookah to bring in more customers. The design has no color, however the visual appeal is very well design and the pictures really compliments the typography.
The idea of this design is to give a friendly atmosphere to it's customers. The reason why Boba Bear decided to go toward this idea of design is because it is to create a more unique boba place were more people can enjoy. The idea is great because this created a bigger variety of different customers. The unique factor implementing hookah created a revolution to how Boba Bear is now. However a way to improve this design is to add some color. By adding some color it can create a better flow in how the the bears can compliment it. Adding some red to the mouth or adding some color on the hookah can enhance the design. It can specify that the boba is tasty and tell that the place is a hookah place.      

Tbay

The concept of this design has a very unique and clever name. Tbay is a small tea and boba restaurant. Even though the concept of this design is mostly typography, it has a very nice attraction to it. The colors and use of the bold 3D font is a great idea as a design. The reason why the color enhances the this design is because it really fits the name. The multiple color blues gives the design a lovely feeling that the design is from the bay. And the color orange really compliments the color blue. The function of this design is to give a friendly tone to attract friends, family, and tea lovers. This was created to give boba lovers a place to do their homework and get a tasty tea.
The idea of this design is very simple. It wants to bring in as many customers as possible. Before Tbay had a design, they were missing a core reason to attract people. They missed a logo that can explain who they are. The idea is great, what most attracts people is the color. Since the color compliments each other, a lot of people can tell that the design has some thought in it. A way to improve this design is by introducing a small picture to represent what Tbay is other than having just typography.

Tostitos

Tostitos is a food company that mainly sells Mexican dishes.The concept of this design is to sell it's salsa product. The salsa design has a variety of different visuals that enhances the product. In this design, there are a lot of fresh looking tomatoes to indicates that the product is harvest with the best quality fruits. The product is function as a dip since the design is placed on a jar. This creates a simple but logical design to help it's viewers eat from the jar. This design is intended for a family who loves to eat Mexican dishes. In the typography, the two "T"s are shaped as two people. These symbols can represent a family. The "I" could represent a child with the T's are the mother and father. The reason behind this representation is to create atmosphere for it's buyers. Tostitos is created to influence a family Mexican dish that can be enjoyed by everyone. This product is intended to be used in multiple places, however it is best used in a food industry. The color of the overall design is leaning toward warm colors. This create a warm family atmosphere or a hot sensational taste. The design is well made and has great impact toward the food industry. A way to improve this design could be adding a variety of the color green. This could help represent a tasty seasoning to enhance the product.  

Snickers

This design has dramatically  influenced the chocolate industry in the 1990s. The concept of this design is came form a company called "Mars". The reason why the chocolate bar is named Snickers is because of the man named Frank Mars. He is a founder of multiple different kinds of chocolate. The function of this design is to sell it's chocolate across the world. The name Snickers is influenced by Mars's favorite houses. Since Mars was a well known man who made multiple chocolates, his influence is spread through out the world. The design is intended for every chocolate lover and the reason why this design is created is to create a new type of generation for chocolate. This design can be spread in every part of the world because chocolate has revolutionize the food industry. 

The overall design is very unique and simple. Snicker presented itself in a very professional atmosphere because of the background behind snickers. Since the man has such a great impact towards the food industry, the chocolate was able to sell itself. The font is a non serif type that has low contrast. This design brings out and pops towards its viewers. The color of this design is red, white, and blue. It gives off a very American perspective towards the general audience, however the popularity of chocolate is spread world wide. As the name Snickers became more popular, it had a great positive impact towards the UK. The design is amazing in how popular the name became. It created a revolution of how chocolate is now and became one of the power houses in the chocolate industry.

The concept of this design is to give their fans a way to show their support for the team. The design is made the symbol of the Los Angeles Lakers and in this case, it is made onto a hat. A lot of different sports teams are on many different attractions. Either it is on clothing, posters, or products. In this case, the Los Angeles Lakers is focused on a basketball team. The design function is clear and has a firm meaning. Anyone who wears the hat has clear motives that they are a fan of the Lakers. To wear this product, it helps fans represent who their favorite teams are. This design is focused and intended for the LA Lakers fans. The color and the font and all pulled from the original design of the Lakers. Everything is to aim down all the fans. 

The design is good and has a clear focus on who they want to attract. The idea of this design is well made and well thought of. The colors, purple and yellow gives a nice complements to each other. A way to improve the design is by removing the ball. For many hats, having a simple typography is all a design needs. Hat designs are made to be simple and clean with little distractions.

There are a lot of different tea places with different and similar attractions. This design was found in Monterey Park in a small tea shop named, Tea Brick. The design is from a cup sleeve and the design has a very interesting touch on it. The simplicity of the design can really attract many costumers, since it's cute and simple. The design is intended to attract families because it's carefree. The reason why they created such a thing is because they wanted the costumers to emerge in the full experience of how to enjoy the tea. The spiral design gives off a warm welcome feeling towards its customer. The reason why the design was created is to give a better representation of their drink. The design has the type, "A Good Coffee", telling the customers that the drinks here are great. It is a very simple design, that can really embrace the average person. The color of the design is just black. The designer used a very simple silhouette of a coffee. This creation can really help people understand how the store is.

The design is to help enhance and spread their name around it's area. Since there are a lot of different tea places, the overall business is a lot more competitive. The main objective of this design is to welcome it's customers into a warm environment. The design has a very solid roll and gives off a positive feedback towards it's viewer. The idea is create and simple that gives off a great understanding of how good their drinks are. A way to improve this design is by changing the font to all capitalization. This way, it will give off a more attracted impact towards the viewer.

This is a simple design of the Canada flag and the word "Canada" on a cup. This cup functions as an advertisement for the country, Canada. This design is intended for people who like Canada, or people who lived in Canada. This was created as a product for people to buy.The color and the font are mediocre. The design looks very dull and boring. The purpose of the product has been the the same ever since it's production. The problem with this design is too limited to what it is. It lacks meaning and only appeals to a small group of people. The idea of this design is typical and way too normal.A way to improve this design is by creating a more visually appealing design. Something more original and not just a flag of Canada and the word. The design is very weak and not great.

This image is very interesting because how direct the message is. There are a lot of designs where people would add in too many fonts or pictures in a design. This creates a lot of problem because of how unorganized it would be. However this design is simple and clean. It has enough typography to give it's viewers an idea of what it is, but it also doesn't overwhelm them. This design is to motivate it's viewers to become a more healthy and more fit person. This picture is created because it wants people to challenge themselves to become a better person. In the design, there is a person trying to climb the rope. You can tell that it is a challenge because you can see the mans muscles tightening up. This type of design is great for people at the gym. The color in the design is also very great. The background of the design isolates a lot of outside distractions. The design is still for people intended to get more healthy in the gym. The design is a great idea. It is used for what it is intended for.

25th Anniversary Monrovia Car Show

This image is to advertise the 25th anniversary for the Monrovia car show. This ad is to advocate people to visit it's up coming event. The designer added three different vintage cars to persuade car lovers to go. The event is intended for everyone, however it will be more appealing to mechanics or people who loves cars. The colors they used are very retro. It fits well with the vintage cars. The font is very similar to an old style design. there was different brands on the lower half of the poster. This gives their viewers a good understanding on what there's going to be.

The overall design is great, however it can look very dull to many people. In this time and age, many people would love to see more vibrant colors. The colors they used are dull and not exciting. A way to improve this poster is by adding a more modern font and flow to the composition. However the overall poster is nice and got the message out.  

New inspiration for the New You

This image is from the store Juice It Up. The over concept is very well made. The color and the over all scheme really enhances the function of this ad. The function is to inspire people to come in and enjoy their healthy drink. This is made for people who want to be more healthy and the reason why this is created is to inspire people to drink their juices. The color they used to create this image is great. They used the color green as their background color. This can symbolize nature, approval, and approach, The font is also very well made. The flow of how the text are and the color of the text is very eye appealing. They also surrounded their drinks with multiple different fruits. This tells their viewers that there are multiple different flavors and every drink is organic.

The idea for this image is to get people to drink their drinks. The reason why they created this is because they might be losing costumers, or they just wanted more costumers. The design is effective, however there can more improvements. A way to improve it is by changing the overall shape. A circle is a good idea since it reminds us of the green street light. Our normal thought of a green street light is to go. This can give people a normal habit of walking into the store just because of a simple design. The design is great and well made.
